danny and David Beckham

Director: Danny Lee Fielder

Born: 26-10-1974, Leytonstone, London

I have a wealth of experience in the fitness industry. I spent my early days playing football in high-level teams alongside my best childhood buddy, David Beckham. We played in all the same legendary teams: Ridgeway Rovers; Chingford School; and Waltham Forest district. I was also a Watford schoolboy.

After a 3-year spell at Dagenham and Redbridge FC, I decided to join the Royal Marines. After 32 weeks of recruit training - the longest and arguably the toughest basic infantry training in the western world, I achieved the highly regarded honour of the PT medal, having attained a superior pass in all of the physical aspects. Alongside this, I also achieved the fastest times in all of the Commando tests whilst in my recruit troop at Commando Training Centre, Lympstone, Devon.

Whilst in the Royal Marines I pursued my passion and undertook many sports training courses and have qualified in numerous fields to include -

• Premier Fitness Diploma in Personal Training

• Nutrition advisor, Sports massage therapist

• AIBA full badge boxing coach

• FA football coach

• Padi rescue diver

• Kettlebell Instructor

I experienced an enjoyable and successful boxing and coaching career at amateur level and after 5-years as a Royal Marine, I moved on to a career in the fitness industry. I worked in the city of London as a Fitness Professional, specializing in boxing.

I then spent just over 2 years as a Close Protection bodyguard. My principals have included Prime Minister Tony Blair and Foreign Secretary Margaret Beckett amongst many over high profile personnel.

On 1st September 2008 Serious-Fitness Limited was born and here I am!

I am passionate about all areas of fitness and am always keen to continuously learn and update my knowledge.

All the best, Danny

Head Coach London: Jon Robson

I have been actively involved in the fitness industry since 2001 when I qualified, through Premier Training International, as an Advanced Personal Trainer, Sports Nutrition Coach and Sports massage Therapist. Since 2001 I have attended ma ny other courses, whilst actively applying the knowledge I had previously gained; able to further develop my understanding of the way the body works for optimum efficiency and effectiveness, in both the physical and psychological aspects of peak performance.

I have always been interested in fighting (learning the boxing offences, defences and counters certainly helps in my fighting today). I studied Karate as a 9 year old then Boxing when I was 13, but only for a short period. Danny re-ignited my passion for boxing when we worked together in 2006. Once Danny went into body guarding full time, I took up Sanshou (Chinese Kick Boxing) where I became British Champion within 8 months – a title I have retained for the past 3 years.

Below are my fighting achievements to date:

2007: British Sanshou Championships - Gold Medal

2008: British Sanshou Championships - Gold Medal

2009: British Sanshou Championships - Gold Medal

2009: World Sanshou Championships (Toronto/Canada) - Silver Medal

I have just returned from representing Great Britain in the World Championships winning the Silver medal.

I look forward to meeting you and sharing wisdom and experiences on one of our upcoming courses soon.

Inspire the fighter within, train hard and win.

All the Best

Jon

Head Coach South West: Mark Edwards 'MBE'

I have a wealth of knowledge in and great experience of Boxing. Although I started fairly late, at age 19, I still had a successful career.

You don't have to start as a junior to do well in boxing.

My coaching knowledge is extensive; I have taken many boxers with no prior experience and brought them on to win championships.

I was Born & Raised in Thamesmead, South London and I took up boxing at the famous Fitzroy Lodge boxing club in South East London.

I lost in the London ABA finals against Nigel Benn on points and this was my last bout before I joined the Royal Marines in 1986, for which I am still serving to this day.

Below are a list of my Boxing achievements to date:

1986 - Fought in the London ABA final against Nigel Benn

1988 - Combined Services Boxing Association Middleweight Champion

1988 - ABA Middleweight Champion, Gold Medal

1988 - Tamer Tournament, Gold Medal

1988 - Royal Marines Sportsmen of the Year

1989 - N.A.T.O Cup Winner

1989 - Combined Services Boxing Association Champion

1989 - Competed in the Moscow World Championships

1989 - Canada Cup, Silver Medal

1990 - Combined Services Boxing Association Champion

1990 - Auckland Commonwealth Games, Bronze Medal

1991 - Combined Services Boxing Association Champion

1991 - ABA Middleweight Champion, Gold Medal

1991 - Competed in the Sydney, Australia, World Championships.

1991 - Combined Serviceman SPORTSMAN OF THE YEAR

1992 - Olympic Qualification in Copenhagen, Winning Bronze Medal

1992 - Barcelona Olympics, Captained the Great Britain Boxing Team

1992 - Retired from Boxing 1993 - Took up Boxing Coaching

1994 - Awarded MBE by Prince Charles for Services to Boxing

After I retired in 1992, I took up coaching so I could impart my knowledge and skill to others. I have coached the Royal Marine and Royal Navy squads taking Marine boxers on to win the Royal Marine championships and Navy championships and then on to box for the Navy squad.

I am very passionate and enjoy all areas of boxing and fitness and I look forward to passing on the knowledge that I gained, in my boxing career, to you.

I really look forward to meeting and coaching you.

Kind Regards

Mark

After many years of competing and teaching at top level in the martial arts and boxing industry, At 27 I decided to join the Elite, Royal Marines Commandos. After successfully passing the worlds hardest infantry training, I had a career just short of 5 years, then I left to become a personal bodyguard, operating in the UK and worldwide hostile environments.

Throughout my working career I remained very active in the boxing and fitness industry, competing as a boxer and winning various titles at a high standard, whilst keeping active with the instructing/teaching side of things.

Some of my achievements:

2000-2008 Former undefeated British and International Boxing Champion

1995-2000 Former undefeated British WKA Freestyle Kickboxing Champion

I have known Danny for many years now, and was really happy when he asked me to be part of the Serious-Fitness family.

I have really enjoyed passing on my extensive boxing knowledge to all the students on the Shadow-Box courses, and find it very satisfying seeing them go away with the ability and confidence after all they've been taught. I have a huge love and passion for the sport of boxing, and look forward to meeting and coaching you all on our course.

Hi All

I have been involved in the fitness industry as a personal trainer for 9 years.

My passion for sport and fitness training started at a young age and when I was 15 I was first introduced to kickboxing.

15 years on and I'm still training. I have progressed and achieved my 1st Dan Black Belt, competed in many full contact competitions and my biggest achievement to date is winning the IKF British welterweight title, which I still hold.

I am a full time Fitness Professional, and due to my passion for kickboxing the majority of my personal training has involved incorporating this into my clients workouts.

Some of my qualifications:

- Premier personal training diploma

- NASM certified personal trainer

- Reps level 3

I met Danny and some of the team when I was taking part on one of the Shadow-Box courses earlier this year, and was honored when asked me to join the shadow box fitness team.

I Look forward to meeting you all soon.

All The Best
