Background

Our background is long and varied with a huge range of experience in a vast array of fields. You can learn more about the directors and employees in the ‘Meet the Team’ page.

Serious-Fitness is rooted in boxing. Through personal experience we identified a gap in this area of training; as though becoming a boxing coach for the everyday person was near on impossible!

So we decided to put together a complete and comprehensive course that is designed to teach the fundamental principles of boxing. Our classes strive to impart true, realistic boxing knowledge to the everyday person. To fulfill and genuinely satisfy someone who has an interest in the sport, either as a coach or as a gym member.

Vision

Our vision is to train a highly regarded, well respected and knowledgeable family of coaches. We aim to train instructors who previously have no, or a limited experience in the field of boxing, so that they learn and impart our thorough and comprehensive courses.

Boxing is a prime example where coaching isn’t as widely available as some other mainstream sports and leisure activities, especially for first time boxers. There are a limited number of qualified coaches who are available or indeed willing, to coach novice boxers and gym members who are interested in participating in the sport for the first time and/or from the health benefits of a boxing workout.

Serious-Fitness has the vision of its family of instructors breeding excellence, knowledge and enjoyment in these missing areas. We are committed to constantly researching all areas of fitness to make your classes up to date with the most cutting edge equipment in the industry.

Many children growing up today are born with a true sporting talent and could be future champions in their fields. Yet, without the right guidance and coaching all this talent could simply go to waste. This is a prime example of the role a Serious-Fitness boxing coach can play.

After identifying the lack of properly taught and educated boxing coaches and addressing this problem, we were instantly turned to the equipment needed. Our research showed, that in Great Britain we are years behind such countries as the USA, with many items of specialised boxing equipment not yet available here. To this end, we decided to further research as many of these products as possible. As a result we have re-designed and re-created many of them. All are available via our online shop.
